Based on the principle of vacuum insulation, insulation is achieved by increasing the vacuum inside the board as much as possible and filling it with porous low thermal conductivity materials. It is currently recognized as an insulation material with very low thermal conductivity. VIP boards have been widely used in white goods, construction (or building materials), water heaters, vending machines, cold storage, refrigerated containers, and other fields. They have also begun to be used in aerospace, medical cold chain, transportation, deep cooling storage, food engineering, industrial kilns, and other fields.

Thermal conductivity of VIP can be as low as 1.5mw/m k which is improved by more than 10-20 times.
The thickness of VIP is only 1/5 ~ 1/10 of the traditional insulation material, the thin and lightweight of VIP make the insulation layer thinner, the space larger and insulation chamber lighter.
